THE FIELD-ANALYSIS DEVICE
GRETA is a modular multi-function system made up of 2 main elements:
- The field-analysis device. It consists of a miniaturized gas chromatographic system directly connected to the gas network. It has the same functions as a classic GC device, with the advantage that it remains field-installed and allows the collection of data remotely, at any time.
- The smart SCADA, to which the data collected on the field by the device are sent. The SCADA processes data and operates on the gas network in real time.
It will no longer be necessary to engage operators to perform gas analysis, thus providing important savings.
GRETA device can integrate up to 4 gaschromatographic modules, which can detect different compounds. The compounds detectable by GRETA are:
- Permanent gases
- Sulfur compounds
GRETA IN ACTION – DYNAMIC MANAGEMENT OF THE ODORIZATION PROCESS
GRETA can be integrated with other systems, for example with INGRID, in order to guarantee a constant odorization rate at each point of the network.
THE ADVANTAGES OF GRETA
- Modular architecture
- Small dimensions
- Robust design
- Easy to operate
- Reduction ef emissions
- Savings on OPEX
- Possible applications: odorization monitoring, quality and composition analysis of biomethane and detection of specific compounds
