R&D Software Developer

Regas is a leading supplier and integrator of services and products for worldwide energy and gas companies.

In our R&D department, we are constantly developing innovative products and services to meet our costumers needs and to drive them and ourselves in future of the energy sector.

We’re currently looking for a highly-skilled R&D Software Engineer to join our R&D team. Our ideal candidate will be eager to contribute and learn about new fields. He/She has an experience in software design and code optimization, with the ability to develop projects from the ground up.

Skills and Qualifications

• Outstanding academic records in software engineering or information technology.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Proven experience in frontend web development with: Django, HTML, CSS; Javascript, Jquery, Angular, VueJs., Python (are among some of the technologies we use).
• Experience with or openess to learn the backend developement with object oriented languages (C++, Java, ..).
• Familiarity with SQL. ORM knowledge is a good plus!
• Familiarity with communication systems like 3G, Modbus, etc
• Interdisciplinary and enthusiastic approach.
• Desire to continuously grow and learn.

Responsibilities

As this is a R&D position, new and interesting projects will be continuously proposed (and you will

get to propose projects yourself, of course). Among the possible projects you will be involved in:

• Developing forecast models of customer behavior and usage patterns
• Analysing complex fluid mechanic systems
